After an early Duisburg lead by Annemieke Kiesel, underdog Herford showed a good performance in the third round of the German Women soccer cup DFB Pokal. Nevertheless, they lost their spirit late in the first half which gave Duisburg the opportunity to score thrice within four minutes. Jennifer Oster, who had her first match after a long injury break, completed a good comeback with the fifth and final goal of the match early in the second half.
