HSC Landwehrhagen - SG Flensburg/Handewitt 2 35:35 (17:16)

When I was watching Ladies' Soccer in Landwehrhagen in November 2003, I never thought I would come back to this small city that fast. This time it was a second Premier League handball match with Landwehrhagen facing the second team of SG Flensburg/Handewitt, one of Germany's best teams in Premier League.
Landwehrhagen was behind during the first minute but fought back and were the better team during the first half. They played quite concentrated, but wasted a larger lead before half time.
Flensburg had the better start in the second half. Landwehrhagen did quite bad during the middle of second half, so that the score was 26-34 ten minutes before the final whistle. Eight goals behind in the fiftyth minute, the great crowd in Landwehrhagen did not think that their team will have a chance. But the home team gave their guys a great comeback, being just three goals behind on 56th minute and score the 33-35 and 34-35 in the 58th and 59th minute. Thirty seconds to go, Landwehrhagen could even tie the score and Flensburg was unable to finish their final attack.
As Landwehrhagen was the better team, but had some very weak moments while Flensburg was more balanced, the score of a fantastic match shows exactly the way the match was.
