In the final and deciding match of the tie, Jürgen Zopp was just too weak for Luka Gregorc, who replaced Tkalec in the singles. In the deciding moment of the match, Estonian Zopp, who just had managed to re-break the Slovenian, got broken in the eleventh game of second set, which made him finally loose this one as well. Zopp's spirit was broken now, Gregorc won all three sets by a very concentrated perfomance.
