Denmark lead already 5:1 and looked like the easy winner (though the US always gave them a good fight), before the star-spangled banner girls came back and nearly rolled over the Scandics. Especially after two consecutive goals in the 47th minute tieing the score to an intermediate 5-5, it looked as if Denmark might loose the match - but Ceclia di Nardo gave her team the game winning scorer with two minutes left on the clock.
